what i mean is the one in the bottom pic is a spotted bass, not a LM  but i personally don't care since spotties are smaller than LMs in general.

and the easist way to tell is look at the corner of mouth, if it's not past the eye, it's not a LARGIE.
i see in the link pic. that the Spotted has a small mouth too, but not the golden eye or the blotchy pattern on it's sides......either way? CONGRADS!!!

I seem to remember being told the tongue on a spot has little teeth that slant back into the throat and can be felt, for an easy way to tell them from LMB.
