I'm not much of a cook Adam. Can I buy groceries and help cut peel whatever if
someone is willing to cook? I will be bringing my son again specially now that I
have two kayaks. I can't wait!

Jedmo
yes!.....if your coming fri, some red tomatoes, grn onion, cilantro/chinese parsley, lemon and a bag of tortilla chips and i'll whip up some fresh salsa to eat an an appettizer while the Chili is warming up......and please bring wood to burn, it will be dark&cold after 6.
i'm precooking the chili at home, so all that will need to be done is heat&eat......i can only make so much, so please do bring anything to share incase there ain't enough to go around to all.

I CAN'T FIGURE OUT HOW TO POST A MAP OF THE LAKE, SHOWING THE KYEN CAMP AND HOW TO GET THERE.

THERE IS A BAIT SHOP OFF OF 101, ON THE ROAD TO THE SOUTH LAUNCH, SEE SIGNS OFF OF FREEWAY.

BUT THE EASY WAY TO CAMP IS 101 N. TO HWY 20 E. AND FOLLOW SIGN TO CAMP/BOAT LAUNCH

Thanks for the startup Adam.  Sorry I can't attend. But I'm heartened to see NCKA doing what it does best...Friendship, Fishing and Food.

Hey Doug, whats all that blue stuff in the first pic? Oh, wait, is it,... water??  :smt005 Cant wait, Im heading up Fri morning, will bring lots of wood and disgustingly good dessert burritos for all. We got to cook a striper on the fire again, last time we did that it was better than any fish Ive had at ANY restaurant, hands down.
And dont forget to bring/rig up a kayak lighting system for a night paddle, gets dark quick...
Mooch- are you in?? I have another painting for you to take to Alaska for rememberance :smt005 :smt005 :smt005

Awe, now I really wish I could go.  Ben, it reminds me of when you, Joel, Erik and I were chasing after boils just outside of Crappie Cove.  It was such a blast.  We were all just quietly shooting the bull when the boil erupts just 60 feet away and all Hell broke loose. Those were such good memories.

Bummer. My son and I would have loved this hook-up. A perfect situation for the young-un and his little yak. We have a cabin at Steep Ravine Thursday & Friday - I'd alomost let that go but we have friends joining us. Too bad.

C R A P!!! I can't seem to get any break now for a while. First, my truck getting
hit and not being able to fish for three weekends now. Now, our VP asked me
today right after my lunch if I could help support a project this Saturday. I was so
looking forward to hanging out with my NCKA bros. If people will still fish Sunday,
I would like to still come hopefully before dark Saturday. I will bring some tri tips
to BBQ for dinner for Saturday night and some chicken pandesal for lunch Sunday
for everybody.

I'll be in Petaluma for turkey day. I may bring the yaks up to shoot the shit with you boys. But I can't do any camping... not enough space for all the gear. The boys are bummed... maybe we'll crash at a motel somewhere up there and hit it with you guys on Friday. I'll have to play it by ear on this end but hopefully, it'll all work out and we'll get to play with you guys for a at least the day.

See you boys on Friday midday
