I am looking for a tandem yak for my son and I.  I'd prefer a trade b/c wife won't let me keep 3 yaks in the garage... I mean 3 yaks won't fit in my garage...

It's a yellow T140 that I"m willing to trade/deal for.  I bought it from Sin Coast a few months back.  Comes with a ff mount (ram ball style), flush mount rod holders.  It has a seat back, but no seat bottom.  I'll post pics later.

Thx.  sounds like your son outgrew getting a ride from daddy and is moving up into his own ride.  I'm just the opposite- wife and son could use a tandem while I put my 8 yr old behind me in the tankwell...

I have an older one you can have for one fifty.  Not in perfect shape but it's a good work horse.  It's a ocean kayak three seater.  Not sure of the name.  I'll send some pics if you're interested.  Andy

I have a yellow Malibu Pro2 tandem that's been in my rental fleet for a year and in great shape. It doesn't have a fishing setup but can be easily customized. I'd consider a trade for your t140 if you sent some pics and were willing to drive up here. Crabbing is good now when the seas are calm.

If there is an interest, maybe we can meet halfway at Ukiah/Lake Mendocino.

John - Is this offer still open?  I have an older Necky Cruiser ll with a rudder but no fishing gear on board.

It has 3 seats, the tandems and a solo in the middle.  It also has two hatches

I generally use it solo to abdive or just cruise.  I'm just starting to get into yak fishing.

Let me know if you want to see some pics.

I'll get to it Saturday morning.  It's hanging from the ceiling in the garage and I'm swamped Friday.  I'm in San Carlos.

nice!  Now I can't use that excuse, and will just have to face the truth that I am not allowed to have 3 yaks.   :smt009
However, looking at the racks for a few minutes have given me some good ideas on how to store my 2 yaks.  thx.

Hang them from the ceiling. That's what many of us do.

Can anyone provide a picture, with a short tutorial?  I would greatly appreciate that.
I'm assuming I have find a stud beyond the drywall, and start there.  Then what?  What do I need to buy from Home Depot to complete the project?  thx!!
