I went to renew my drivers license today and for the first time I couldnt pass the eye exam. I squinted, I blurred my vision and finally I just gave up to that bastard father time and put my glasses on. Then the little lady tells me, "now sir, you will have a restricted license so always carry your glasses with you when you are driving." I think my pecs just sagged a bit more and my ass is disappearing. :smt044 :smt044 :smt044 :smt044 :smt044

Just buy an extra pair of reading glasses and leave it in your truck all the time  :smt003

If you have your glasses tinted a little, people would think it's sunglasses. :smt044 :smt044 :smt044

ouch... that sucks. but here's something that'll make you feel better. eventhough, i'm still blessed with better than 20/20 vision... my boys all of age 10 and 5 need glasses. i just couldn't believe that. did they get any good genes from me. I took them to get a check up and when the nurse asked them to read the charts... i was standing behind them whispering the letters to them. yeah... that sucked... so did the bill for the glasses. at least you were able to enjoy you eye sight this long. time catches up to us all my friend.

Don, there is a better alternative than those line bifocals. It is called progressives. It is basically a no line bifocals and has three objectives than two
with the line bifocals. You would have the far, intermediate, and the reading part.

Aren't those coats rather pricey? I dont know. They were giving them away as prizes down at the tuna tourney last week in Cabo. Thanks Don. I am going to check them out.

They are $$$, about $169...  but they are comfy...  :smt004

and there only for the near stuff, and that line takes a little getting use to.

I don't know what Jedmo is Yaking about, Progressives....? those sound interesting too,  maybe more of what you need.
