While......I am..... out there having a good time shooting up the fish and feeling giddy about being american......somewhere in the back of....my....mind.....I am thankful.....for that warm and cofortable blanket of freedom....I... sleep under everynight...



You wont physically be there to....hear it.... but in spirit I will be telling you "thank you!"

Yep, many thanks to all those who have served honorably.

SC is having a big to-do today for the last 2 living members of an all black regiment who were stationed at lighthouse field during WWII. One of the guys, who is now 94, was the first african american postal carrier in Santa Cruz.

I took my son-in -law out for dinner last night. Iraq vet. I give him love and food. God knows he needs support, he's married to my daughter. Happy Vets Day to all who served under conflict. You are the guys that should have the day off not the whole GD state.
