sturgeon fever aka i lost the big one!

That second video looked quite close to what happened to me and a buddy fishing just a couple of weeks ago. Was out fishing the nights outgoing tide and hooked into a nice one. Fought the fish for about 15 to 20 minutes and got it to the boat submitted (belly up).
Now comes the landing or lack of I should say. After several attempts at snaring the fish by the tail I suggested to my buddy let's just go over the pole to get him by the head. No real hurry since the fish was being very cooperative but in the haste and adrenaline filled situation, my buddy decided to hoist the fish up by the leader. (Rookie Mistake and he aint no rookie    ) Hook popped out and bye-bye fish.  
I think the same expletitive was released in a howl. F%^$!!!!!!!! Then you hear our camera operator say "Well I guess I'll stop filming now"  

Oh well. That is why it's called fishing and not catching.
