Check WalMart, KMart, and Sportmart.  Get 2 or 3 ounce metal jigs.  Gibbs, Hopkins, Pucci, MegaBaits, or Candlefish.. all will work.  Supposedly the top producing colors are black, black/red... but I've seen guys catching them on chartreuse and plain chrome.

One other tip we picked up last weekend is to fish the spoon upside down with the hook attached to the heavier end to have better control on the drop with less flutter.  We were told that fluttering jigs are harder for salmon to strike and often ends up snagging the fish.

Troy, getting there is pretty simple.  Use the Google Maps link and  click on "get directions".

Brian,

If we can meet up at Garcia first, one of us can leave a truck and trailer there. Haul yaks up to Miller to start. Haul some back to Miller after the drift.  Or something like that.

If I don't hear from anyone tonight, I'll just head up to Miller in the am and hitch a ride back after fishing.

prior posts were questioning weather treble hooks were legal.   As long as you stay below I80 bridge you can use treble hooks.

Per Regulations - Maximum Gaps for the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta.  No person shall use any single hook with a gap greater than 1 inch or any multiple hook with a gap greater than 3/4 inch.    You can use barb'ed or barbless.
