I spent last week in Cabo also and fished 5 days ending last Sunday.  Fishing was pretty scratchy and the only thing happening was Dorado.  We ended up getting 11 over the trip.  Last Sunday we took a long trip to Gordo banks and fished for tuna.  Caught a bunch of skipjack (bait) but no yellowfin.  One skipjack probably went 20+ lbs.  Most of the trips we went out with Dreammaker, they seemed to be pretty fair (Panga = $175, 28" boat = $300).  All the places charge an extra 10% (labeled as "tax") if you put the trip on your card, so cash is cheaper.  Spoke to one guy that goes out with "ABY" and he told us they were pretty good also. He had got 8 dorado and a marlin on one trip about  two weeks ago.  A lot of our fish were caught on live bait.  Good luck down there.

Headed down there Tuesday, staying at the Tesoro at the marina and fishing on Wed.  Hope fishing picks up.  Then heading up to the East Cape to Hotel Buena Vista for 4 days.

Great pics Craig, too cool! About baby reptiles, no problem, the mothers lay them and forget them, you saved some from the birds to have a chance to grow up. I always wanted to save the babies in the old Nat. Geog. shows.

Look like all enjoyed the trip.  As to turtle lures, when I fished Tarpon in Tortugero, Costa Rica, the guide said come in Oct when the turtles are hatching and every tarpon you get will be spitting baby turtles as they leap.
