I heard a rumor the Discovey Bay Yacht Club let's kayaks launch for free.  Is this true, or does it depend on who's working that day?  I'm planning on fishing for the stripers in there in the next couple of weeks or so.  I fished there last year but it was on a boat.  This will be my first time on the kayak, any advice form you guys?  Thanks

I launched mid-week 2x last year for free. I did make a point of stopping by the harbormaster to make sure he was OK with launching, no problem.

Cool!  Thanks!  Did you stay in the bay and fish or did you move to the outside?  I'm going to hit it during mid-week.  Maybe it'll eliminate some of the other fisherman.

I stayed in the Bays, starting from the east, then outside tip, and down the westside. I was actually trying for crappie, which I think weren't around. I did get one small striper by accident.
