I need a few more pictures for my 2010 calender so I decided to bring the vanity mount along.
The fishing was great but I was WAY out of practice with the V-mount. Missed one that was of a beast but got a fantastic shot of my hand and giant head.
Conditions were perfect for soft plastics and victims were taken in the shallows using dead stick tactics on the rocks and in the reeds. Nothing on the lipless crank or spinner bait.
Even after catching multiple solid fish only one shot is calender worthy.
here are the visuals :spiderman:

That was a great report.  So how big was that bass? If you weighed it we should have a guessing contest before it's revealed.  I'm guessing 11.5.

T,

Great work.  Hope I get to join you at some point, maybe for some winter bassin'.

Shirk

PS - I'm headed to B-port, probably Nov. 2,3,4.  The stories of the Big Brown are too much for me to handle.  I know you said no dice due to responsibilties (J's out too), but I'll be at the Twins if you can head over.

Wish I could make it over to b-port but Im trapped.
Be careful and consider having thanksgiving with my folks in "the No". The Kraken just ordered a T15 and we are doing the SanJuaquin.

I didnt weigh or measure any of these fish but it wasnt even close to double digits.
Fish that size take another chin to lift.

I'd be satisfied with a not-so-calendar-worthy fish.

WTG  Teery. I am glad you got some quality. We fished at a private bass lake up by Grass Valley yesterday. The most frustating part is marking fish all over and having them have lockjaw all day. Between the 3 of us we managed only 6 fish up to 19 inches for 8 hours of water work. There was alittle high pressure that came over that area on Sat  and it was a bit windy in the am on Sun. It looks as though your lady was kind, sunny and flat( sorry about the flat) :smt044
