First light at the main boat ramp on Sunday. I'll be there. It will be freezing ass but  at least you will know all your nerve endings are working! :smt006 :smt044

Looks like no camping will be happening.

I'll see you at the lake Sunday AM...  bleary-eyed and hungover...

Just wear your new wetsuit :smt005
I'll be there at first light and will have sinker droppers for all so bring a few 2 or 3oz weights and and a couple of extra swivels.
I think the steelies will be on top till the sun comes up then they will drop to about 20'. The water has been super clear so I'm hoping for a good shot of rain on friday to cloud it up a little, there has been a ton of bait schooling up between the Marina and the ramp which is a good sign.

Yea , yea , real funny. Just kidding. I got me some new tempest pants to wear this winter so I can be warm, warm, warm. Do you think the smallies will be on with this weather?

Sunday sounds tempting. Think I'm busy on Saturday. I will probably let the weather factor in too. Haven't tried up there this fall. The steelies should be on the prowel.

Hey Mick,
what do you like to tow around up there with those weight releases? Are you using minnows or lures? If lures, what do you recommend bringing?

Silver spoons with a tight wiggle like crocs or castmstr or rapalas original or raps but I troll pretty fast. I know some guys that catch a lot off a PB on the wire and they swear by humdingers I always thought they were funny looking and never tried but I will be fishing them on sunday.
Silver if it's clear
Brass if it's overcast   2-2.5"

Craig if the bait comes up the smallies will be at about 12' and they should bite pretty good if not they will bite but you will have to work hard them but I have always caught the biggest ones Nov.- Feb.

I'm wanting to do this, but it's weather dependant. I've done enough sitting in the yak, in the rain, this Fall.

Mick,
I found those little sinker releases on the web last night. They look great! One of those wish I thought of that gizmos. Do you have a line on them. I'd like to buy a few, or do I have to order them on line?
Thanx, Jonesz
