So the hunt for White October continued today in the MB and Doug was the king. The rest of us had a slow go of it and I did not see any other boat bring anything in for the entire 6 hours I was on the water. The wind came up early around 8:30 and continued to push hard into the afternoon. The swell was also on the increase with bigger water and wind conditions predicted for tomorrow. Congratulations Doug, you were the man today!

Thanks for the report and pics Mike! Congrats Marmite!  :smt007
I wouldn't go so far as to call a lingcod filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a lingcod's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

Yes, the squid were hard to find today. Went with frozen, and by the looks of it they weren't too picky.

Nice double! I'm betting you had less than an hour of sleep prepping for your mad Ghost Busting Hunt. Good Job! In the end its always worth it to loose a little sleep. Now you could shut your eyes and count WSB to sleep.

Congratulations!

It was great to see these fish in person today OTW. Way to go!

The conditions got really choppy right after Marmite bailed with his two giant fish. All he said to me was, "gotta go, I'm feeling unstable!". It looked like aprox. 70lbs. of fish laying across the deck as you can see in those pictures.

So glad I caught a glimpse of the rare catch since I didn't catch any myself.

Everybody cross your fingers for Sharky tomorrow!
