Alright guy's, I'm gonna commit. I've decided on a used Malibu II XL. I will be coming to the Bay Area this wk end. I'll start at Sausalito and work my way down too Monterrey hitting the rental shops on the way. If you know of a rig let me know. $425-450 is the going rate I have been able to get quoted. The only other op I can think of is Ft Bragg. Does anyone know if the place in Noyo is still getting rid of there inventory. The Phone is disconnected. I hope my PFD from Northern Mtn arrives before.

I only go there when I want to save money and take advantage of their well stocked inventory. I've bought three kayaks and other accessories there. They have always treated me great. I'm glad they're close, saves money on freight and gas.

I went in there one time when I first started looking at yaks and I didn't like the(you better buy now so you get the color you want) attitude.  I felt like they were trying to pressure me to buy something fast.  In retrospect they didn't know much at all about fishing kayaks.

I wonder if anyone from the store reads this post. Sounds like they have all the business they need. Talk about shooting yourself in the foot. Thanks I  for-warned.
