That is one killer grill shot!

First class all the way Sean, WTG. You put smiles on a lot of faces besides Paige's with this report.

That sure looked like fun! I was banking it futher up still stream this weekend. Great weather for sure. I heard rumors about a few fish in the Smith now but I'll wait till the first rain.  Funny about your truck...the sand must of been hungry :smt003

No pix of being stuck in the sand, Sean? I was hoping to compare it to Mahi's adventure at BAM last year.

I didn't take any, I was too busy trying to get myself unstuck, but Redyak was EAGER to document my situation.  I am sure he will post some pics. I need 4wd, that was about the 5th or 6th time I have gotten stuck in the sissy truck.

Great report. There is always a lot of on-line snivelling and whining and meanwhile some people are just out having fun!

4WD does help, but costs money and gas. disclaimer: I have had a 4wd truck at my disposal for the last 15 years and dont regret it.

Seems like those two wheeled drive nissan sentras with 4 mexicans and a bicycle pump can get through anything in baja. stuck? everybody jump out and push after letting some air out of the tires. when you hit hardpan, pump the tires back up. repeat,  :smt004

Kinda funny but I never got stuck in baja either in the same truck.  But towing a trailer is when it seems to get buried. I could have aired down, but it wouldn't have helped this time, we were to the frame in sugar sand.  I bought the truck when I had a long commute, now my commute is 4 miles, and many days I just ride my bike.  I would love to have a 4wd...someday!

Great Report Sean,  Paige is really turning into quite the Fisherwoman.  Glad to see you skipped the trailer park this year, I will not be going back to that place!

I've known guys that got stuck more often after they got 4x4, it's a false assurance. You still have to realize your limits and capabilities. It is nice though!
A fillet from my fish fed 6 football fans tonight. Dee-lish and all gone!!! Too bad I lost a bet on the Panthers. :smt010
