Rancho Seco

Went out to Rancho Seco today to get in some bass fishing.  Caught one (not even worth a picture), but it was good to get out again.

I was there yesterday (Sunday) and met Shashimi in the water. I think he only caught 1 Bass.

For me, for the first 3 hrs, I caught only 3 small Bass, but later I caught 5 more nice fatty within an hr. I gave the largest one to some kid by the dock and the rest were released.

There are definitely some fatties in that place.

I'm thinking of heading there in weekend again. I'm planning on hitting Lodi/Moke River area that weekend as well.

I was there Sunday also. Launched a little after noon.
Hot and very windy. I caught nothing.

My favorite little lake sucks this year.
