Today I tried out a kayak for the first time. I rented a Navigator xf from Hmb kayak company. It was great, took it out for an hour and it seemed like it was only 20 minutes. Im hooked  :smt007 , cant wait until I buy my own, and that will be very shortly.

I don't know whether to say congratulations or I'm sorry!

Addictions are kind of two way streets....

In Loving Memory of Mooch, Eelmaster, Shicken, and Cabeza De Martillo

I started kayak fishing to get away from most of you...

It is easily addictive.
Do not rush into your purchase. Paddle several before you buy. Figure out what you want to do now on the water and consider in your decision what you might want to do in the future, i.e.. fish, dive, tour.
I have seen many a person rush on what they thought was a great deal only to be disappointed later.
Tons of kayaks, tons of info on this board. Good luck in finding just the right one for you.

I also say do a lot of research and try it before you buy it.  I almost rushed into buying a very popular fishing kayak that I would not have liked very much.  The addiction is harsh.  I now eat, sleep, and breath kayak fishing.
