Best safest to store potluck goodies, grills, and other stuff is in your vehicle until lunch.  Perishable stuff should be okay if kept in a cooler with ice.

The Half Moon Bay Kayak Company will be open at 6AM and you might be able to set up grills next to the picnic tables.  Dave and Chris (HMB Kayak Co.) should be there to keep an eye on things for us.

.... and I'll save some room for whatever sweet artery-clogging goodies you decide to fry up!

Jim... First it was your deep fried oreos, then it was deep fried cheesecake.  What's next?    I can't wait!

I will bring a pot of menudo Pinoy style.  I'll skip the liver and use pork loin so that we can all enjoy it.  I'll bring my camp stove too so that it's nice and hot.  Anyone bringing rice?

You are right on Kuya Darius.  Mechado it is.  But, maybe I'll bring some liver for you on the side.  Hate handling those things when its not cook.  If you can bring some rice that will be great.  Looking forward to taste your asado.  Probably won't be there till 4am Sat though.

Could use some clarification. Is the Potluck in addition to and in conjuction with the event BBQ on Saturday? And / or is the Potluck on Friday night.
As for Friday night, since most of us will be driving in after work, is everyone planning on on cooking or serving around a certain time? With travel time most people won't be arriving until 7 PM or later.

Heading to go pull traps for the bugs right now, and hitting the road soon.  Have some work to get done at Devil's slide, and then grab a hotel for Melissa.  See you guys there!!!!!

P.S.  I am bringing my small propane grill, anyone can use, just bring small cylinders.  I am also bringing my propane coleman stove, same thing, anyone can use just bring a cylinder.  I am bringing my turkey deep fryer for the boil and also deepfying finger steaks out of some wild game I have left on Saturday.
