Swap Salmon Mooch Gear for some Bass, or Trout and kokanee Gear

Hi Yakers;

  I'm a Old Salty Dog going to try new Tricks at Bass Lake.
I'm Gear poor and need to trade Salt Rod Ugly Stick for Fresh so that I may
Fish Bass Lake Derby.
 I'll make up a Gear List and post Tomorrow.
                                         I hope I don't turn into a Gear Head!

          I have too many Salt Sticks and want to sell or trade the Baidarka I won
at Davenport. It's a nice Rod but I have two CalStar in my Quiver.
          The rods lists for $120 and I would like the same Quality,
I had 5'-5" one piece  Fenwick/ Lunker Stick w a Ambass. 5000 when I was growing up. I have a Trout Rod but need a Spinner.
          I would like to trade to Locals in the Bay area unless you
are going to Bass Lake Derby Sept 20.

I am going to ask some specific to meet your needs on freshwater, keep in mind that there are some tactical rods and reels in freshwater in order to achieve success, are you going...

Rods
1) Finesse?
2) SwimBait?
3) Jigs?
4) All of the above?

Reels
1) Baitcasting?
2) Spinning?
3) SpinCast?

Let me know as I said I have some good BPS rods and reel depend on what you wanna do..

I dont mean to sound som kind of Guru.. But base I've been fishing LM for at least 7 years and I had my fair share of catch, Trust me I love catching them but the wifey hates me when I let them go! A few pics for you
