Stillwater Cove 8/27

I've never been there so I wanna try it, anyone wanna come along? I have 3 others coming so far. 

North or South ? I was thinking South on sat  ?

noob question... there are two? heheh.. never knew that.  We're going to the one close to FR where's the south one? I'm working saturday.

What time are you guys looking to head out?? I work the night before so 9am is the earliest I can be up there

Still planning on Stillwater Cove? I am trying to weasel my way out of work on Thursday and Friday.

I hope its north of Fort Ross thursday,Carmel is too far to drive for me

We're going north of Fort Ross, carmel is kinda far.  Anyone ever fished there before? how was it?

oh yeah, how's the parking, launching and all that stuff? TIV, guys.

kiel n i are going to hit the ft. instead.  good luck at stillwater.
drive north of the ft.  park at the entrance to the cove n unload.  drive up the hill n park.  easy.

There are a couple spots on the turnout just south of the cove and a pay lot (county, i believe $7??) a bit south of that.  Unload between the trees on the paved area right at the entrance. Super-easy.

Thanks chad, and hightide.. so when you say drive up the hill, do you mean like fort ross, where we have to walk back down the hill? wow, if I remember correctly that's a pretty big hill   we'll see.  IF all else fails, we might just head to fort ross.  Hightide, are you guys going on thursday too? as for our ETA probably around 6:30am and hopefully OTW by 7ish.

oh and FYI everyone in case you didn't know, entrance fee to FR is now $8 so I don't know if it's the same for SWCN

walk is nothing like the ft. n there is no park fee.

Goodluck at stillwater cove guys, I am going to try Fort Ross again with Hightide. I almost get skunk last time we went there, hope this time I'll find those big reds!
