I am wanting to get some new kayak socks for this winter and found a great deal on these at REI.
http://www.rei.com/product/685089
I really hate cold feet so if anyone has experience with this product (good or bad) please let me know what you think before I buy a couple pairs.
I have a hard time trusting the reviews from retailers and figure this forum is the best way to get this kind of info.
Thanks in advance,
Eric

These are great and can really make long sessions in cold water much more comfortable.

Eric, I have a pair of Large socks, if you're interested. I had ordered online for XL and got L instead. I have big ankles and calves.

these should go on additional 50% clearance starting at or around august 28th.  REI's annual clearance sale will start that day.

Thanks, Hojo, your generosity never ceases to amaze me.... but I actually need XL, too, (size 13).  I was gonna try the L because that's the largest they had listed.

$20 which would include cost of mailing. I got a price break on buying the top, bottom, and socks plus no shipping. So you can benefit from it too. Socks never worn or tried on.

BTW, they're very warm.

If so I can get them from you there - if not we can make other arrangements
Either way I'll take them,
Eric

I have 4 pairs...they RULE.  I wear them in my Tempest pants for all day toasty feet.  10 out of 10.

I'm very happy with the Mysterioso items I wear. My shirt is probably 6 years old & still my fav piece of yak apparel (even with holes in the sleeve when I used it to break some spectra).
Kayak Connection has the socks on their new online store I believe.
