they were supposed to go to bed early last night.  i doubt that happened.

at least we were only a half hour late.  you eileen and allison already.  meet christina and jasmine.

allison is 15, so it's time for her to learn to drive!

this is actually the first time these two have ever been out on the ocean.

what a way to start out.  flat calm!

jasmine was high stick for the day.  we only caught two limits today, but jasmine acounted for half of them.

christina, however, was all over the cabs.  we had four by the end of the day.

now, THIS is a crew!

on the next trip, they'll just have to get more sleep the night before.

so the final tally was 4 cab and 16 misc rockfish.  oh, and 15 lost shrimpflies.  cruising down the coastline, i didn't see anyone.  otherwise i would have stopped in to say hi.  fishing was tough for us.  we would normally load up pretty quick.  there were lots of jellies at san gregorio.  i think the kids were fishing too high to avoid getting hung up.  i was not metering that many fish this time.  alan
