Love the clip of the little one paddling the kayak  :smt001  Great quality time spent with family.  Thanks for sharing the experience with us Eric.

Wow!  Beautiful video!   The music is perfect too!   What kind of camera are you using?

The better quality stuff is an older Sony 7.2 megapixel.  I also run with a waterproof Olympus 8 mp.  When I first started doing movies I was surprised at the high quality videos that the little hand-held digitals provide.  Everyone needs to make movies.   :smt001

Thanks for the compliments, Guys.   :smt008

Eric,
You crack me up, great video chapter. I actually recognized you with the fuzz back on your face - I guess you're over the OMG, I turned 40 and need to try to look younger thing?   :smt005

Well, I thought I was cleaning up the look and motivating myself to lose a few pounds (the goat covers the double chin, ya know?!   :smt005).  So no sooner do I emerge from the bathroom with my new surprise-face and the family basically goes unanimous with "grow it back, Dad!"  I guess I should be happy because I like it better too...   :smt003

That was great Eric, really nice. I missed the sound since I viewed it at work, but I'm sure the tunage was appropriate. The opening & closing sequences were the best!

& thanks for the little preview of Mattole!
BTW, I got the big box full of upgraded backpacking stuff delivered last week: New water filter, stove, new cushy thermarests, and 5 days worth of yummy dehydrated food. :smt044
Oh yeah, & my new light tackle setup (2 pc 7' ugly stick 12-20lb, abu c5500 with 20lb). I'd hoped to keep it under 2lbs for the trip. I spooled it up & stuck it on the rapala scale.....1.1 lbs! That's almost 15 ounces of tackle I can bring! :smt044 :smt044
