Anybody interested in a bay trip?  It will be my first trip on the bay, and I am looking for some seasoned yakkers (or is it yak'ers) to join me at Oyster Bay/tubes.  I heard you can launch at the marina - true?  any better places nearby?

I'm open to other options, and am monitoring the coast launches/conditions as well.

Sirius, I don't think I'm gonna make it out tomorrow, but here's the scoop on Oyster Point (OP).
You can launch at the marina - I don't think they charge for a yak - but there's also a windsurf ramp on the south side of the lot. It's a good little ramp except at low tide it becomes jagged rock.

The other thing about OP is the wind can get howling there, and since it's the west side of the bay, it usually blows offshore. Keep an eye on that.

To get closer to the tubes, you can also launch from Sierra Point but there's no ramp there. There's public shore access, though. Check out the article here on the left side column about the Tubes.
Catch & Repeat

Thanks, Pisciform.  Think its already a false start for me.  Didn't get the FF installed or my rod holders. Got the Rod Pod in, though, and have a working knowledge of my M72 radio. I'll shoot for Sunday somewhere.  I'll get out one of these days.

Thanks to you and Darius for your advice.
