I will try to pick up some shiners in El Cerrito before hiting san rafael bridge..

is it true that rangers may let me drive yak down to waters edge if  I arrive early in morn? cuz I don't have my carrier yet.

where is this san rafael bait shop ?
went to paradise today and got skunked...although a lot of butts were caught...guys on left side of pier were doing especially well..this group oo asian youth had 3 stripers and around 4-5 butts between the group..

some party boats had hookups as did private boaters...but the yaker went 0/1.

first time out there for me..rangers were very accomodating in allowing me to launch yak via driving down...but must be very conscious of driving super slow as their fear is that the pedestrians would be put in harms way if we drive ayak down there....hence, I don't think they would be accomodating on the weekends, or during high  foot traffic periods.

I got screwed up this morning since I thought my tackle shop would be open early (el cerrito)..they don't open til 9 am so I will beed to search for the Main Co. bait shop..

thought I could sabiki for my own shiners along pier...nope...and wasted an hour...
finally had mooch so dead anchovies from a guy on the pier..

water was dead calm until 1230pm... most party boats and other boaters split by 100 pm..

hopefully i will do better on wednesday..
