After fishing (and showering) on Day Five Vy and I went snorkeling. The amount of sea life right outside the gate of The Ranch was incredible. Some of the best snorkeling I've ever done. Here's a few pics that don't nearly do justice to the actual visuals. I got some OK video of an octopus that I'll try to post as well.

Some more random pics.

Sure there was a bug or two in our room each day, but Vy and I had our own personal exterminator included in our room.

Collateral damage. I had a matching version on my other index finger.

Some bomb ass dorado ceviche.

El Gato that I affectionately referred to as "The Little Bastard". If you fed him fresh fish he would let you pet him, but he'd put his ears back and the hair on his neck would stand up. If you over stayed your welcome he'd take a swipe at you.

Here he is sleeping. I got a bit of joy by repeatedly stomping and waking him up. Sometimes it's the simple pleasures in life that you enjoy most.

Lucky, on the other hand, is the complete opposite. She is very friendly and VERY cute!

Me and M'Lady.

Our wonderful hosts.

Our dedication to Adam.

The "look away".

The fellas.

And finally...The Ranch.

I really miss that place. The wife and I went down every year for six in a row but the last two have been no-gos. It is so relaxing and when the bite is on......boy!

Lucky the cat was just a kitten on our second trip down. Those cats know when they have a good gig.

Sounds like all of you had a wonderful visit. I am jealous. Maybe next year.

Great reports and photos guys, glad it all went so well, not that I had any doubts with Sean running things.
For those interested we do have more trips heading down to the East Cape this year all of which are real light right now. One more in July in a couple of weeks, and two in October. Anyone interested let me know.

Looks like a great trip Sean. I am going next year. 10 bucks a day socked away in a fund would do it.

Beautiful stories and great pictures both above and below the water. Maybe next year we can all caravan down and invade the Ranch.
