Met DonD and Darius at ~6 - easy launch into flat windless conditions.

I scored a couple gophers, few blacks, and a just legal Ling - and was off the water by 10:30.

Ling was a double with a nice 14" black.   Ling took 2oz white bucktail jig with rubber tail, and black took white fly with squid snack.

Sun was just breaking through marine layer - and it was a beautiful day as I drove up the coast.

Thanks for the great company!

It was cool fishin with you Gordo, glad you got a ling, I got 5 or 6 released all but one about 27 or 28 in. caught 3 nice cabs, released them too and caught the usual varietybut only kept a couple blacks for tacos, like to catch and release when i can, don't need a limit every time.  got to do it again sometime.
