Took a client out from the wharf today.  From Ohio....

chris was a good paddler and a good fisherman.  We jigged up nice mackerel and stuck these two in 36 FOW.

Were there a lot of PBs out there? I was uncertain about heading to SC this weekend with Bayside's derby.

Good job Allen!... Nice work on the Oneill's flatty. I've gotta say that this has been the best year locally for halibut in 5 or 6 years. The sheer numbers keep on coming in. The restricted commercial fishing regs are starting to show their positive results. I've got over 15 flatties so far this year, with the biggest being 16 lbs, and most being under 8, with most of them coming from the Capitola area and a few off the West Side. Haven't been out in the past few days due but the water looked awesome this morning. Probably gonna hit it again after this weekends madness.  :smt001

NICE!!!!!!!

I think the food pic trend is great.

WTG Allen!

I saw you leaving UCSC the other day. I tried to wave but it looked like you were busy pulling a monster halibut from the asphalt on High St. :smt005
