I woke up late again so I decided to fish in Linda Mar which is about 15 mins away from my house.  I got there at around 1130 and the swell is down but the wind was blowing still.  There were two kayakers out drifting from south to north.  I launched out out past the breakers with no problem and try to catch up to the two yakers who might be ncka members.  I got close to one of them but the other dude looks like he was going out to sea and I noticed his rod was dong the bendo.  When I finally caught up to the other yaker, his pole is still doing the bendo.  Finally the fish gave up and floated on top and that thing was a monster!!  My picture taking sucks but here's the proof.

OH MY F'N GOD I KNEW IT. I'm going to Linda Mar. The signs are all there with abundant bait activity & the perfect WSB conditions in Linda Mar. Where there is one there is a school.

Looks like I will be hunting Linda Mar fishing and diving! Hopefully the water stays warm.

Typical ghostie few strong runs then they give up. The fight they give with the few strong runs are awesome.

Ya the dude was yelling for a gaff but as soon as the fish surfaced he just floated.  I can see a lot of baitfish on my fishfinder and lots of birds divebombing.  I'll definitely stop by there first when the wind calms down a bit.

You won't need a gaff with WSB's their gill openings are so big that you can reach in and grab. Once you grab a hold of their gills they freeze.
