Olive with the scales rubbed off, Thanks to all for the responses. I was fishing with my friend Ernie. A quick note to all, we had a very difficult time hauling our yaks back after fishing due to the high tide was up and our path was being slammed with waves. We had to time the sets and it was pretty dangerous. Traversing slippery boulders quickly between breaking waves. Very hectic and exhausting after such a long day on the water. Learned a good lesson yesterday.

i think i may have seen you?  well i saw someone on the water, it was smooth as glass. I was drivin down the 1 to go hang at the big sur river. Telling these girls i was with how perfect of a day it was to be on the yak down the coast when i see 2 on yaks. -instantly jealous- but excited for the yakkers taking advantage. the river was nice too though, even though the whole gorge is filled in by landslides, but it did make it easier to hike back.
saw some small 6"rainbows, bout 2 miles back, thinkin about goin back with my fly rod for giggles.
nice work on the catches, still have yet to fish down there off the yak. Ive spent 100s of hours on the rocks dreamin of it while snagging on every other wave set.
-soon-
