Floated Roberts Ferry to Waterford with Cousin Bob. We got on the water at 8:30 am. I had long pants, long sleeved shirt, hat and lots of sunscreen. Ice chest was loaded with Gatorade and Fig Nutons!! We started fishing and caught fish right of the bat!! Beautiful river with lots of fish. We caught nothing over 10 inches, but saw lots of big fish.I catch lots of SMB on small spinners, but am not catching the LMB. There must be some tricks to river fishing for the bigger bass, but I have not figured it out yet, maybe some type of anchoring system to help hold my fishing position. I would have taken more pictures, but dropped my camera in the river at lunch!! Tried out the new Horizon radios today and they worked great. Got off the water at 2:30 and 102 degrees!!!!! I had a great day and so did Cousin Bob.

Nice family outing.  Thanks for the report and pictures.

hey, Dave-  sounds like a great day on the water.   That looks like such a nice place to paddle and fish.   I have to get out there with you again some time.    I also need to pick up a radio too.   Really beginning to think its a necessary piece of equipment.

In a couple of weeks I am planning  to do Basso bridge to Roberts
Ferry. It is a 6 mile trip, which should give me more time to fish, also will get on the water earlier!! looked the river up on google maps, and looks like better fishing, than the last segment I did, probalby.. hopefully...... LOL
