Hit the Tuolumne tonight.  I walked about 10 minutes down the path and lost one of the keys for my cart wheels, used a fish hook to make it the rest of the way down to the river. Got to the river and realized my seat was still in the car, Oh well I didnt really need it anyway. Launched and started floating down the river, caught a few small mouth and perch, and then got into a nice small mouth, 15 inches by best ever!!!! fished till almost dark and while landing my yak I misjudged how deep the water was and landed waist deep, forgot my cell phone was in my pocket! I put my cell phone in the oven on low for 45 minutes, and cross my fingers!!!!! I got yelled at at my wife when I got home for fishing alone, but have fished this section a few other times and is very mellow. Next time though will make her happy and make sure I go with some one to give her peace of mind!!!! I thought about going fishing all day and had to get on the water tonight!!!!!!!!!

Sounds like fun.  Out of curiosity, where do you launch, if you don't mind sharing.

I launch at the city park, there is a trail that runs along the river, about a 10 minute walk. My phone works after 45 minutes on low in the oven!!!

Sounds like a great day, despite having to tuck tail at the end of it all.  Nice going on the respectable small mouth.

Have a good day.

a buddy of mine actually washed his phone in the washing machine, and dried it in the dryer...still worked!
