Great job on the crustaceans Ariel! I'm sure they tasted better than that 40" Striper anyways. Must have been quite the battle with a fish like that on a windy ass day.

Nice work and great eating! I've been meaning to get to Linda Mar to practice surf launches and self rescues - I guess I could do the rescues between pulling traps! Seeing that cooler full sure is good motivation.
Just a walleye fisherman from MN tryin' ta get salty!

The rockies are underneath the dungies. With all the battling against the wind I was to lazy to lay em all out.

I guess that way the last day for dungies, considering our weather for the next few days.
May the fish be mighty and the seas be meek...

WTG Ariel!! Great looking cooler there. I could just imagine how much fun that was hooking into that big striper. It is always nice to hear that someone is rewarded for their efforts even though the weather conditions aren't ideal.

Thanks for the report and pics,
Ray

Kiel

Cooked them 3 different dishes yesterday.

1. Majority boiled in salt water.

2. I did a couple in a stirfry jalapeno-lime-salt/pepper-tomato-garlic-cilantro stirfrys.

3. Redcrabs in a Singapore Curry-chilis-coconut milk-onions-garlic

All eaten with rice. Everyone who came over lastnight was Asian so they love all the meat, eggs, & guts. Dipping the boiled crab meat in garlic/vinegar sauce.

Like I said I enjoyed watching everyone go to town on those crab.
