Thanks Scott... look forward to fishing Sur with you too.The T15 was a beast on the cliff haul, but it performed well in the bumpy conditions and I like how you outfitted it.

Thanks for the report, guys. Good job getting out there in between the nasty water/weather conditions. Very nice female sea trout. I've been wanting to fish that area but have been waiting for the conditions to improve. WTG once again

Nice report and Fishes specially the greenling where is Garapata? I wanna check it out with KEO

Garrapata is north of Big Sur, about 6+ miles south of Rio Road in Carmel.  It's not a launch for the timid or inexperienced, however...a decent rope drop is required to get the yaks on the beach (and it's a bear to lug them back up after a day of fishing).  The launch itself usually entails making your way across softball - basketball sized rocks that are covered in algae...real ankle breakers if you're not careful.  On a mellow surf it's a relatively easy launch/landing, but if there are any waves at all things get difficult. JMHO

The trade-off is kickass fishing most of the time.  :smt004  Great job out there guys! Etienne, pm me next time you head down there...I haven't been to G in way too long!
