i did that once, in a two foot swell. I had to stop and go lay on the beach for about 4hrs.......then i was introduced to the magic pill by the NCKA Legends = scopace

  I always carry a heavy duty plastic bag, 12" x 12" about, and have used it a couple of times in unsettling situations. Useful to have anyway.
