LOL. Nah, not this time.

I picked up the Toro 50HS on my lunch break. Spent $400 at Outdoor Pro Shop!

I'll post a review of it as soon as I fish it. Bought it mostly for an upcoming Baja trip as a high-speed jigging reel. After that it'll be my go-to rockfish/sturgeon reel.

I picked one up off of eBay a week or so ago. It's a great reel, you'll love it. I *really* want to try it out in the Ocean.

Ya, and a mail-in rebate for a free pair of $100+ Wylie (sp?) sunglasses which are pretty sweet, too. I tried them on at the shop and they are pretty nice.

Yes! CAN NOT WAIT 'til I got a nice, fat rooster puttin' the drag to the test!

I took it out last Saturday at Paradise, but the leader on that rig got all tangled up and I had the other set-up ready to rock and that's the one the hali hit.

...never mind...it does come with a brake system.
