Shit we'll all be fighting over hobieblue! How bout I get there a 30 min early and we can toss our names in a hat (with $5) and we'll draw teams of 3-5 each depending on how many wanna do it. It would be cool if we could get 4-5 teams out there battling it out...Yakhopper, let me know if you are OK with this. I don't wanna hijack your event. I can manage this since you got enough going on that day. It could make it fun for us total bass rookies! Assuming Eric is cool with it I am open to other suggestions.

Sounds like fun, if Eric is cool with it.

If anyone wants to organize a side bet that's cool with me as long as everyone knows it's not mandatory for participation.
Looks like we are going to have a good crowd - should be lots of fun.

Cool thanks Eric. Yep totally on the side for fun and braggin' rights. Thats why I'd like to keep the buy in low...like a 5'er

OK peeps. I'll be there with a hat and some paper we'll toss the names (and $5) in and just draw them out to make the teams...That may be the fairest way to do it.

At what time will you stop accepting participants?  I may not be there until 6:30.  Would that be too late?

So will pictures be needed or is it honor system?  Teams of 5 won't be required to fish together will they?

Is this still over a week away? :smt009 :smt003

nah...honor system and I was thinking ppl can keep there own total and we can add them up at the bbq. I am sure there will be fair bit of radio chatter, taunting, etc. No need to fish together but with 30+ ppl at the event its gonna be hard to have "alone" time. If we end up with an odd number of ppl on a team we can just divide the team total by the # on each team and use that. And I was thinking ALL bass count (LM, SM, stripers, etc) no size limit...Just number landed and released. No LDR's count.

Sounds good to me!

And I was thinking ALL bass count (LM, SM, stripers, etc)

I was hoping that would be the case for the FW event, but I'm not going to complain.  I'm just appreciative to have an event to attend.

Wow.. 34 entries so far. That's great. Thank you Eric and FW for putting this together.

My son Eric and I are looking forward to this event.
We will both be representing "Team Mini-X" at this derby.

Good luck to all, Al

Heads up, no launch fee!!!

   Hi Alain,

For anything you can walk to the water a put in we don’t charge includes kayaks. And the rates for boats  is mon-thurs $8 fri-sun unless any of you have a regular boat to launch then it would be $12 to launch.

         Thank you,

That's a cool spot, wish I could make it.  You guys are gonna have a blast.  The camping is kinda weak, but very close to the launch...  which is close to at least one 10 and one 12 lb LMB....
