another late afternoon hit, I think this is getting to be a bit addicting!  windy afternoon, laid down like a lamb before the sun set.  the bite was so so until sunset and then all of a sudden they were swarming.  also a ton of carp just hanging out on the surface and in fact I would see three or four mouths out of the water just swimming lazily and scooping up crap off the top of the water (I guess?)  Also, you can see the crank bait in the mouth of the fish at sunset

Nice catches at a beautiful place.  Thanks for the report and pictures.

How can I help myself, 35 minutes from my driveway to the launch ramp!   What a differance yesterday was compared to the weekend!  The sunset last night was awesome up there.  I think I could have dinner at 5 pm be at the water at 6:30 and get 2.5 hours of great fishing in without it feeling like I am turning my back on my business!  I am going to force myself to fish from my boat this weekend and pretend that the it is all about just being with my gal on the boat!

again, has anybody ever kayaked around the farrallons?  I am planning a trip out there when the conditions are perfect and the thought of having the kayak in those wasters is very tantalizing!
