Agree w/ all that's been said. Very comfy and well made in Arcata, Ca. :smt023
BTW I use the SuperNova angler suit most of the time and I agree w/ Marite. Unbelievably it works up to about 70 degrees. I was fishing in the sound yesterday at 68 and sunny and I was still comfy. Now to do something about these goofy tan lines!! :smt083

Sold!  I have nothing but good memories of Arcata.  What a cool town.

So with the stocking foot, how do I put this...  how is one to avoid embarrasing foot odor?  My waders are pretty heinous about now...

Are they washable?

Since they are NOT neoprene and breathable. I'm guessing they won't hold that much stink. Not sure what they officially can handle but I would think a mild hand washing.

Ok, yeah it's just the neophrene part of my waders that gets funky even with rinsing.

And I'm sure the socks SBD mentioned help too.

Thanks!

They are machine washable.

Good to know...But if I wash 'em you'll loose all that blood and slime. Nice to be able to look down and remember the good times when you are on the water getting skunked

What are people wearing over the socks?  Booties or what?

Yep, your regular dive booties go right over the top.  Lots of room in the footwells and great if you go for a swim.

I use some cheap-o speedo water sock/shoes that I got at Costco (see link). But I may give the dive boots a shot assuming they will fit over 'em

They will, and then the gators will cover the top of booties and you'll never get anythingin your shoes, even when doing a dino mud slog.

Without seeing them I'm wondering how those would be if you were taking a long swim, not that that should happen

They are machine washable.

Should you use a non-detergent wash?  Like you should with other breathable fabrics?

I use a full goretex Kokatat drysuit.  If can build up the funk on the outside (due to fish slime, etc.).  Hand washing it is a pain, but necessary.  But only once a year.  Unless someone tells me I stink.   :smt002
