I definately recommend using this stuff.  I had a fish finder once, now I don't.  Linda Mar Launches and Saltwater wrecked it. Now I must wait for Christmas.  :smt002

Erik, I bought the same tube of dielectric silicone grease from West Marine.  1/3 oz tube for $8.49 is a big rip-off. :smt013

Check out Pep Boys Automotive.   You'll find a can of it for about half the price of that damn tiny tube.

I found a tube of motorcraft dielectic grease at our shop.  I am sure it is cheap stuff.  I have been gooping it all over the connectors whenever I take it out.
