Sounds like the weather and swell will be cooperating this weekend. Fish seem to be getting in the mood too. I am not sure if I will launch out of the harbor or out of New Brighton beach or the capitola pier yet. I will post this up on saturday night. I will be monitoring channel 69 and more than likely focusing my efforts off of 38th and pleasure point area for halibut.  Mike 831-588-5251

Hey solsrf1,

I'll be launching off the SC wharf in one of those yellow boats. I can't seem to convince my Dad that kayaks are a safe way to fish in the ocean. I'll bring my vhf and see how you are doing.
