are RAM mounts as solid as something like a Scotty mount?

i removed my ram "elbow" and installed 2 scotty's on extension poles like KZ, seems much stiffer.

For Cutting boards, that do not upset the wife.  Go to Ross or Marshalls and they have kitchen goods at closeout prices.  Cheapest place to get cutting boards.
