Low tide at paradise was at 7:53am today and it made the water real dirty. The high was what we were coming for with a 4ft running out to a 2ft. Never made it that far.We stopped to get robbed at LL for some shiners. Kieth will be retiring soon at those prices. We arrived at PP early enough to get to drive our stuff down and thats a treat. We launched without much expectations until the water cleared up some. Jim amd William drifted north about 2 miles and I worked the area in front of the houses to the old pilings. At 11am I get a nice soft bite and the rod loads up instantly. Net? Check Game clip open? Check Ball peen hammer ready? Check. Fish in the net, game clip on , hammer down, fish quiet. Two more nice takedowns shortly after that in the same area. One real hard that stripped the bait instantlyand the next one the real soft touch like oh baby come on take it, take it, gone. Bait gone. We stopped for a bite and the westerlies which made the decision for us to leave. Nice to meet some new friends. Dustin/ rockhopper and his freind Bill. You guys are way cool. William from Ukiah. Nice to meet you too. Lets do bass at your home lake( wink, wink). JIm/ redyak thanks for buying bait and not crying too much about it. Halibut in dirty water in April. Thats just sic.

She's a beauty Craig. WTG man. Did anybody else caught fish. I am 1 of 5 trips
on the halibut. Perhaps I should concentrate on other fish for now. I am about
to get the boot from the AOTY. :smt003

Thanks for the report and pictures.

Cool report and congrats on the fish

I was out there on Friday and dealt with the dirty water and the wind.  It was brutal.

It seems like Keith is always having derby every weekend that I get bait from him.  Each time I put in $1 and totally forget about it at the end of the day.

Thanks again,

Jason

Ravensblack, nice to meet and fish with you. Thanks for the tips. I normally would not say this to a guy, but, nice but (Halibut that is) That was a nice day to be on that water until the wind came up.
As for that bass action let me know and we can hit a couple of spots here
