Hit the lake to find guys already there. They were chasing stripers, I was there for the fish with a red eye!
I got a late start, calm then, then someone flipped a switch and turned the wind machine on before noon. Tucked away to get out of the wind I found fish.
What tenacious fighters these beautifully marked fish are!
I tried the pose. Couldn't find my knife to bite on though.

I've only caught a few of those in my life, but your guys' pictures of them have always reminded me of Blue Rockfish - checkered sides, small mouths, squirly attitudes.   :smt001

Nice one.

Kayakjack, that was lake Mendo.
I was using Zoom flukes, a soft plastic bass lure.
Smallmouth bass are in the pics.
Endosmay alliesmay is a sad attempt at pig latin for mendo smallie.
