Good work Sean... perfect.   How hardy are those threadfin shad?   Are they more like anchovies (delicate) or jack smelt (hardy)...

I don't think they are threadfin look like  minnows. Pretty hardy I bought some on Thursday and have been using just a bubbler and they still look great today. Just been adding a little water once a day. Stay alive over an hour being trolled and a hook through the mouth.

Thanks Sean I'm sure you told them to stock up. I'm a NKG and haven't fished with you guys but I was wondering should we buy extra bait for Joel ? After reading your forums it sorta looks like a right of passage,  if you don't you might find a banana in your hatch. :metal

Yea bring some bait for that guy and don't wait me up early. Gotta sleep in.   I am going to try get up to hogan and make some shad minnows for bait. I'll freeze them on a cookie sheet. Should make for some good trolling.

Plan on getting your bait at 0600, it will be better than getting it the night before.  I use the big guys, they don't need to be huge, but big is good, frisky is better.

All right, I'm driving up Saturday morning.  I'll stop by the bait shop on the way in ... anyone want to place any orders for me to pick up on the way?
