If ya Don't Have one of these in your Arsenal.... GET ONE!!!!!

Took advantage of the Fellas finally going back to school, so after dropping them off,

headed to my Local haunt, Ferry Point,

Hard to Believe this is Richmond next to the Refineries, Love this launch, Nice little beach launch, 50 yard pull with your wheels and your at the mouth of the Richmond Harbor... Striking distance to the Hampton Shoal, Red Rock ( if your Really ambitious ) or just poking around the area....

Tried outside the Harbor, 3 way trolling a Popsicle, Nada, trolled a rebel with a Hoochie/worm..Nada

Started getting hot so just kicked it with my Old Friend,

Mr. Wild Anchovy Storm... Bouncing the Bottom, drifting with the Tide.....

SLAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Best Hali Yet!!! 28"/8lbs., Great Fight... Had in the Net Once... Not Now thank You...

Jumps out and now he is really pissed... I saw in the net I had him hooked good with Braid and 40lb flouro, so I was not too worried...

Got him the second time and applied the wood shampoo...

Thanks Ravensback, was thinking of you saying I was due.... :smt002

Very satisfying to nail these guys on artificials, went to East Bay Tackle to get some more... SOLD OUT!!!

Yesterday even, had a few tail hits, and one on... These things Rock!!!!

 Get One!!!!!

And Big Thanks to Kokatat,  Those Baja Hats are Life Saviors....

WTG on the hali Danglin. I have tons of those storm anchovy which I have never
tried fishing with. Perhaps I should give them a try as well on my next trip. I am
1 for 4 on the halibut chase.

Awesome - good job with those Storms. 1 question: do you need to add any extra weight to keep it on the bottom?
BTW, hope you have some good soap!  :smt003

It's true,,  Going to a Free Launch, Fishing where people usually don't fish, catching a nice fish on something that was not much hassle or expense,,,..

No, But it does become a problem with a strong drift or fast troll, guess you could 3 way it just like live bait or bouncing popcycles,

I was talking to Jon at East Bay Tackle and he said there using these on the Dorado down on the East Cape and there out fishing Live Bait.....

Sweet! Even sweeter on an artificial. Might have to bust mine out again. All I've ever gotten on 'em is a coupla Mendo LMs.

In Loving Memory of Mooch, Eelmaster, Shicken, and Cabeza De Martillo

I started kayak fishing to get away from most of you...
