First post, ARW 4-18 morning

This is my first post so give me a little leeway.  I was fishing with my son and his friend off of the second wall and got lucky.  23", 4.7lb halibut,  about 15 minutes later I lost another that was about 6 - 7" longer, DARN.  When we got back to the launch several other NCKA's were there so got to chat for a little bit.  Question -- was I the only one to get lucky and catch a halibut?  Before I forget, I used frozen herring.

It was good to meet you atARW on Sat. I showed up just as you guys were getting out. I was visiting my Mom in Alameda and I'm glad I stopped by. Good job on the hali. Many more to come For you is my wish. Congrats.
