If you surf and you dive and yakfish, here's something to do with all those surf leashes you break:  I've been using the end you normally put around your leg to hold my floatline.  Just rip it open to let out the floatline.  Also, for my gage to my wrist.  The polyethylene cord cuts easily and I just double it around whatever I want to secure it to with zip ties.  On my gage, I wrapped electrical tape around the zip ties.

For Yak fishing, the polyethylene cord makes great rod tethers and stuff, cause it doesn't tangle.

Here's my recycle dive outfit, complete with old beat up boogie board:

Oh yeah, don't cut yourself while rinsing your dive knife.

Surf leashes are so versatile.  I'm not a real big fan of anchoring so I use a leash to tie off to the kelp.  Ankle strap fits right around bull kelp stalks and won't slide pass the bulb.
