We will be hosting a striper tourney at Mendo in October 2005.  We have major sponsors lined up, and it should be excellent.

Here is the question, how to score the tourney, options are as follows:
1) one day, biggest fish
2) one day biggest limit, but with a jackpot sub-category
3) two day total of biggest limit, but with a jackpot sub-category

I see Pro's and Con's to all options.  Wadda ya think?

I vote for #2.

I think catching the biggest limit is the best measurement for a good day fishing.  Since there will also be a jackpot, the person who catches the largest fish will also win (even if they don't have the largest limit).

Plus just limit it to one day so we out of towners can try for rockfish/lings/abs the following day since we'll be in the area.

I vote for #2 as well.

Maybe I could setup the rock/ling/cab tourney on Sunday, if it is cool with you Sean.

I think Rule #4 says "No Coke or Pepsi allow"....

And, next time at  Buck's everyone needs to drink at least one beer.

Joel you and I can be the designated drivers man. Us non-drinkers have to stick together around all these drunks  :beer1
