I'm just getting my dive gear assembled, with a newly purchased two piece 7 mm suit, mask/fins/snorkel and weight belt. So I have the basics, perhaps not the ultimate gear but plenty good enough to get me started. Now I need some time in the water. I don't have a speargun yet, but I look forward to swimming with the fish and pointing my finger and saying "bang".  I might be interested in your used gun!

Would some of you freedivers in the Monterey bay area (I'm in Santa Cruz) please try to post some hookups this season?  I am not looking for instruction or hand holding (though tips are welcome), just some shared water time and fish chasing.

I'll be looking to dive Monterey, Stillwater cove, and perhaps Capitola kelp when the vis is good.

Best,

TallPaul

Hi Paul,

Check out the monteray bay tritons.  Its a club of mainly freedive spearfishermen and ab divers.  IF you make the drive up here let me know.

Tall Paul, what up?  You going to Albion this year?  That would be a great place to get wet at.  JTF
