Second anniversary of me buying my first kayak!

Anyone going to be there?  Looking forward to having my Cardiffs cleaned up for me  :smt003  Probably pickup a new rod or something nice with the 20%off coupon.

I'll be there - probably Sunday.  It looks like Saturday I'll be taking out my little skiff for one more run through before selling it so that leaves Sunday for MC's.

I, too, need to have some reels serviced.  I've got a Shimano Symetre that seized less than a year after receiving it as a gift. :smt011

That is a quite a haul from Santa Rosa RH.  Do you have ties to MC?

Michael

Nope. Not at all. I was just thinking that it might be worth the trip to get my Corvalus reels serviced and to take advantage of the 20% rebate and no sales tax by picking up a new Saltist.  :smt007

Mine came arrived tucked neatly inside of the San Jose Merc this morning.  If you don't subscribe to the paper you can find it online at melcottons.com

Looks like I might have some spending money come Sunday. :smt007  I've got somebody coming from Placerville with $$ in hand to look at the 'ol skiff.

Hummm.. read the ad in more detail, looks like only one free reel cleaning.  Also the coupon excludes shimano stuff, so guess I cant get a new Trevala for 20% off...  I do already get a 10% discount from work though, so I may still get one.

I printed a few coupons, and if I run into someone without one I'll hook them up!

Looks like I'll be going Tomorrow...

Ended up arriving at about 10am on Sunday.  Was bummed that they couldn't take care of my reel.  Said it was more than they could do and said I'd have to send it in. :smt009   Exactly what I was trying to avoid.

Also didn't have the spending cash I was hoping for as the potential buyer backed out but oh well - got to do some window shopping.

On the contrary, my daughter enjoyed watching the fish in both the demo tank and the catch and release pond.  We soaked a worm to no avail but she still enjoyed point out the different fish she saw.

Didn't see any familiar faces - guess most went on Saturday.

That's OK michael.  I got my Curado serviced, but I also brought in my Corvalus reel.  Not only did they tell me they would NOT service the Corvalus, they called me out for apparently ill-treating my gear.   :smt044  How embarassing.
